Was one of the worst experiences of my entire life. Took almost 20 minutes to order one bowl. They couldn’t comprehend what I was trying to order. I have been to many oakberries across the country and I always get the same build your own bowl and I speak very clear English. It’s not too complicated. There was children running around and screaming everywhere going from the back of the restaurant to the front. It was extremely unprofessional and made me think that there is a gross sanitization issue with children running in the back and touching the counters and the food, etc. My one smoothie cost almost $20, & melted in 3 minutes. I’ve been to many Oakberries across the country, and this was truly the worst one I’ve ever been to.

I probably would be willing to give this a higher review or not bothered to review at all if it weren’t for the high price but I feel the amount I paid justifies some pickiness. I’ll provide specifics below as I hope it’s good feedback for the business to consider. All and all, my bowl was $22.95 after tax and without tipping. I don’t expect açaí bowls to be cheap, especially not in St Pete but this seemed steep! I don’t have the exact breakdown but it was about $13 before adding protein powder for $3 and another $5 to upgrade to the oak (large) size. Then tax of course. I can find lunch at several low to mid range places in the area for that, including a 20% tip but I thought whatever, it was a hot day and I was going to treat myself to something refreshing. At first I didn’t mind the idea of having the açaí in a bowl but then I realized it was a way of them giving less fruit on top compared to the amount of açaí. I like açaí but this was quite sweet and a soupy consistency. Not necessarily something that’s inherently bad as it’s a personal preference, but if I’m nitpicking then I would prefer it to be thicker as I found myself wishing I had a boba straw instead of a spoon at ti

What a treat! We went last Saturday after walking the Pier. It's just a brisk 5-10min walk from there near the Ruth Chris. The food was...Fresh, delicious, healthy, and so many options! The girl working was super sweet and helpful. We had a smoothie and a little bowl. All the fruit was fresh, the prices were reasonable for what you get. We will be back!
